Post by Catriona RProbably most of you guys are way ahead of me but I just picked up a
good tip from the forums for garrison resources: the Scavenger
follower trait is your friend. It increases resources gained by 200%,
that's 200% over the base, so you get three times as many resources
from those missions, if you send a Scavenger follower on them.
If RNG didn't favour you (I got none with that trait, hence not
realising it would help!), then with a lvl 2 Inn you can tell your
headhunter to find you a follower with it; I got one and was instantly
getting 90 resources from 30 resource missions which I sent him on.
Result! I'll be getting myself another one next week I think, with a
different ability so I can cover more of those missions for more
resources :-)
Oh and another follower tip: if you assign one to a building to
increase work orders, they have a higher chance of doing it if they're
higher lvl, explains why my lvl 94 JC follower wasn't doing a lot; I'm
now levelling him as a priority!
With herb garden a follower lets you chat to npc and set production,
provided the follower remains assigned, otherwise it will revert to
random. Lvl 100 makes a big difference.
Bulk herbs of your choosing.
Forge npc give you two 4 hour buffers, similar things from other followers.
Scavengers can apparently double if you have 2, 100->+200 +200 but I
haven't been able to verify that.
Unfortunately garrison and follower progression are keyed to character
level. The most useful option would have been to ignore garrison and
power up to 100 before doing much. Except maybe the barracks lvl2 with
the standard follower.
Unfortunately the game is bugs all the way down and unplayable.
Literally I have barely been able to get in to even play.
And then it is bugs bugs bugs bugs bugs.
One very small example. I finally got one char to 100, yay, celebration.
Shortly before 100 I had a quest to hand in, I go to the hand in point,
it has red npcs and the '?' npc is red.
As usual my tooltips had stopped working. The red npc didn't put me off
because there are a few parts where this is normal.
I die, pvp flagged.
Once I got tooltips back I could see they were pvp flagged, it was a
horde town and it had given me the horde quest end..duh?
So, got to 100, big celebration, hearth to garrison to upgrade.

get into garrison.
This has been normal for the last two weeks. A tour of 9 chars to do
dailies and banking should take 30 minutes, it can take 3 hours and that
is it for the day. 10-20 minutes just to switch characters, then npcs
won't talk, dis connects, another 10 minutes to get back in etc etc etc.
The actual playing is easy, where panda was hard on melee in wod they
are in heaven. First thing in a new area I go hunting skulls and apart
from a few with mechanics easily solo them then grind out until the next
are missions.
I have completed every area progress achievement except nagrand.
BUT that is by sheer persistence rather than any enjoyable flow.
Tonight I got in hours early for dailies, did 2, 4 hours later dailies
are reset and still unable to log in on any character.

We are aware of the log in issues with Oceanic realms and also the
latency for those who are already in-game. Investigation is in process.
Sub is coming up and I think I will give them a few months to sort it
out. The game is just not in a fit state to play.
