D'OH! Pi'jiu Brews.

While finishing the Lengendary Cloak questline, Wowhead comments
pointed me to the three Pi'jiu Brews (Misty, Thick, and Bubbling),
dropped by spectral Pandaren in Pi'jiu Village on Timeless Isle.

When you use them, they create a one-time, 10 minute duration companion,
which will fight for you. I haven't tried them everywhere yet,
but they can be summoned in the main world, and in the Brawlers
Guild - reportedly not in instanced areas.

You can summon three at once, one of each type. Very handy
as pseudo tanks, and a not-bad dps boost.

Those plus the dew,xtal and book buffs you can use all 3 at once.
Although those are not usable outside Timeless.
They are almost mandatory to get through the catch-22 there.
Too weak,too slow for buffs to last long, so you don't get or keep many
buffs going for long enough to get more buffs.

My bags and bank are full of buffs that I save for a rainy day and never
end up using because of a feeling using them guarantees real world
things will happen. So they are wasted anyway gathering virtual dust
even though I know if I used them they would have less of a perceived
anti-serendipity.
