Champion of the Naaru!

Oh wow, I am so happy right now - for a long time I've believed that
my draenei priest probably had the correct quests (pre-Wrath editions)
to still get the Champion of the Naaru title, despite it officially
being removed with Wrath. But I was low level and couldn't solo
Magtheridon. Tonight I hit 90, killed him, went and handed in the
quest... nothing. Arrrgh! On the offchance, I relogged... still no
popup... but then I checked my titles, and it was there! At long last!
:-D Probably not the most common of titles these days, and just
perfect for a draenei character, particularly with all the draenei
lore coming up in WoD, so I'm very very happy indeed to have this one
now.

I'm thinking I *might* also be able to get Hand of A'dal, but I'm not
sure how far into the chain you needed to be for that one, I know with
Champion of the Naaru, you had to basically be on the last two quests
or forget it. I'll give the other one a go after I've been to the
Timeless Isle and upgraded my weapon, rather not try soloing
Vashj/Kael with a 450 blue if I can help it ;-)

I held those quests on my main forever, and Bliztard wiped them from my
questlog when I race-changed.

Ouch, that sucks :-( I was lucky in that I heard that they wipe your
log with the 90 boost as well... I'd been very tempted to use my boost
on that character, since I was about 72 when WoD was announced and
immediately kinew I wanted to play my draenei character with all the
draenei focus coming up. The boost would've been perfect, but I
couldn't risk losing that chain, as it was the only character I had
which did the three heroic 5-man trials before Wrath, all my other
high lvls didn't have those done and weren't at the Magtheridon stage.
Counting myself mighty lucky I had it on one, having had three mains
through TBC, I could so easily have done different bits on different
characters and not had any which were far enough along! Although it
would've been nicer if my current main had got that far, since I
could've had the title a couple of years back... ah well, it was my
draenei I really wanted it for anyway, so I'm glad to have earned it
with her :-)

How hard core playing the GAME are you to work that plan over so many
years?

Hm, I thought I was around the same gear lvl (497) when my main first
soloed Vashj but I guess not, nowhere near managing it. Much
frustration later and I've given up, hopefully the post-squish old
content buff will solve that problem for me when 6.0 hits...
