Hmm
Its silent nowadays.

I finally got the Raven Lord mount earlier today. I have done Sethekk
Halls every day since monday last week on eight 90es. At run number 98
it finally dropped. Imho the prettiest mount in the game. Ever! :)
I wish it also could fly...

The A'lar mount that drops in Tempest Keep is also on the farm list
together with the grey camel in Uldum, Aeonaxx in Deepholm and the water
mount that drops from Poseidus in Vashj'ir.

And what about you? ^^

Been on holiday this week, not that anyone was talking before I went
away, it's woken up a bit now it seems!

Congrats! I've got a rogue parked outside Sethekk, rather than
dragging a bunch of characters over there, only done about 15 goes so
far but maybe I'll hit lucky someday. Got it down to 2.5 mins from
entering instance to leaving instance now, don't think I can get much
faster tbh :-)

I'm intending to farm a ton of stuff but... beta and I move house in a
couple of weeks... plus new D3 patch just finished downloading so, hmm
lol. On my to-do list is farming various mounts and pets, plus
finishing the last Arch achievement I don't have (collect rare
versions of all the mantid artifacts), also level up my draenei
priest, once she's at 90 get a few crafting alts there too. No idea
when I'll find time for all this lol :-P

Hmm
Apart from the occasional server repeat, not much

It will probably pick up with WoD for a while.

Apart from gratz announcements and gameplay issues people pretty much
have a handle on what they want to do in the game or know how to google
and hit up wowhead.

Also there aren't a lot of new players and very few people are even
aware usenet exists any more. It is all web forums.

In OZ few ISPs provide news access any more, it is an extra and I
**assume** that is typical??

And now to necro an old gripe, given there will be an expansion event
and that most things are hopelessly OT yet somehow OT in a 'no post'
thread, and notice how OnT and OffT shorten to OT? :-)

It is very much like Ironforge during the zombie event.

it was terribubble I tell you, a tragedy, a travesty, it jumped a whole
school of sharks and landed in the crocodile farm.

Oh look, kittens, did you know there is an actual brand name travesty.
Who would buy clothes that are a Travesty?.

I unsubscribed WoW and deleted the game from my computer.

Now I go drink some coffee and smoke a cig.

I play F2P games and delete them, many many games.
Wow gets played simply because it is still there and a predictable way
to waste a week with frenetic activity, sometimes. Most of the activity
is actually predictable, AH make-lotsa-loot or grinding.

Funnily enough the ones I remember best are Runes of Magic and Earth
Eternal. Poorly administered, EE folded RM was run by people who seemed
to have some sort of mental issues , frustrating, complex, buggy and
unfinished.
Honestly they were rubbish, EE had great support and community, RM was
just frustrating with very very very poor support.
But more memorable even years later. Mostly because they were kinda hard
and required concentration and effort. Oh, and in them I managed to rise
to godlike heroic level , a modestly large virtual fish in a very small
pond with shared adversity.
Mythic-for-a-day-then-on-a-treadmill-again isn't so memorable, mythic
then having the world destroyed cements the post traumatic memories :-)
