Post by Peter T.Post by Catriona RQueue now 3k+, anyone who isn't already in it is missing the launch
lol. Think this is the worst it's ever been, surprised me given I
thought people had lost interest over the last year or so. Wtb a cap
on incoming transfers, no idea why Blizz won't do that, it's way too
populated already but more can still come in...
What launch? Nothing happened, BL suddenly became pretty empty and
loads of us were kicked back out in the char selection menu. Relogging
brought me back to a small inn in Northrend were my HS is set. :D
I was in a group, but I couldnt see the others after I relogged. 2 of
the guildies said I was offline while the 2 others could see me online.
A quick teleport from Sholazar Basin to BL via SW showed me something
very odd!
Pretend youre looking straight at the portal. you could see loads of
players on your LEFT side while the RIGHT side was completely empty.
That's a thing that happens a lot when there's tons of players in one
place, I guess it's meant to reduce lag etc. It absolutely sucks when
you're questing and can't see anything that's more than 10 yards away
though, argh! combined with a quest for mobs with a crap spawnrate
anyway and an unusual level of cooperation has suddenly developed,
people actually quickly forming 5-man groups for that particular quest
;-)
Post by Peter T.Anyway! We queued for a dungeon right away, but couldnt join
immediately despite we were 5 man. After a DC I came back and tried to
teleport to the dungeon. A nice load on the servers delayed my teleport
for 1-2 mins.
3 very quick dungeons later where the tank pulled *everything* at a very
fast pace we realized this wasnt the way to level up as some of our
guildies had a faster progress than we had. Then we started questing. :)
The difference between servers, on mine, questing is very much the
slow way to lvl, I think, my progress is virtually nonexistant, takes
10-15 mins per *quest*. Once I finish the chain I'm on and unlock the
flightpath, I'm going to try a dungeon I guess...
