Discussion:
What will happen to the "old" (60-70) Outland zones?
(too old to reply)

Something just occurred to me: To go from 60 to 70 the path lead through the
black portal into the Burning Crusade version of Outlands.

With the WoD launch I guess the black portal will lead to the new 90-100 WoD
version of Draenor. Does anyone know how they will solve this issue? I would
think that just phasing things based on level and/or quest progress is not
an option as that would mean that anyone on WoD would no longer be able to
go to the old version of Outland.

I'm sure someone has an answer to this question :-)

There is a separate portal on the top lvl of the mage tower (alli) that
takes you to HF Peninsula.

Ah, thanks for satisfying my curiosity.

The old Blasted Lands portals in most towns have been redirected to
Hellfire Peninsula (just that side of the Dark Portal), while as
Wallen says, in SW and Org, there's been extra portals added, as
there, the Blasted lands portal now leads to the new flightpath area
for lvl 90s. Also there's extra SW/Org portals been added to the
Outland side of the Dark Portal, as that now doesn't lead anywhere (if
you're 90+, it worked as before for a 80-something a couple of weeks
back) - there already were portals there but not in very obvious
spots, now you can't miss them!
