TomTom on Classic

I've been trying to install TomTom onto Classic. I got it installed,
the AddOns button is on the character page and TomTom is in it, but it
doesn't appear to be doing anything, except that, a couple of times,
the game has asked me to disable AddOns.

I looked up AddOns for Classic on various fora, and none mention
TomTom. The closest thing I could find was Questy, which doesn't seem
to be quite what I want, though it could be useful (many of the things
it does seem to standard in BfA, showing locations of quest givers on
the map/minimap, for instance).

Can anyone here help?

TIA

Questie seems to be the only viable solution for classic right now. My
understanding is that straight old-ass addons from the old WoW dont always
behave on this version (I tried transplanting some from a private server
I leveled a 60 to a year ago on this Blizz classic, and most of them spazzed
out)

You mean some of them worked? I am surprised that any addon designed
for Vanilla would work in Classic.

Of course not, the engine is still 8.2

Actually, I've found a number of addons that have been updated for interface
version 1.13 (I think it is, though I'm not at home to verify) which seems
to be what classic uses and they work flawlessly. 8.2 addons do not work as
far as I can tell.

I've got both Questie, Lighthead and TomTom working and Lighthead and
TomoTom work together well.

Cheers
