More lore for the next expansion?

We had a little talk about the next expansion in my guild this morning.
Lore-fans got their emerald story in Legion. And we are unsure about
Legion in the lore, but we guess it has been mentioned either in Vanilla
or in another old expansion (BC?). As a guildie also said; All we can
kill now is the gods. :)

Are there any missing links left in the lore? Or is blizzard forced to
add a new story?

I know the mmoprg version of starcraft was buried several years ago.
But with today's hardware a world of Starcraft could be a fine
replacement for WoW. And I wont be surprised if a WoSC suddenly pops in
the media within the next 2-4 years. :)

They could do another step back in time to the Draenei's home world,
Argus, before they left. There's also the land mass vissible on the
southwestern edge of the Draenor map, the ogre homeland(?).

There's the Old Gods (even though we defeated C'thun and Yogg-saron, I
think we likely didn't completely kill them) and also the Naga, who I
think are connected with the Old Gods - we've had a few glimpses of
Azshara in Legion, so it wouldn't surprise me if we go to deal with
her once and for all.

And Blizz may well surprise us with something new, like Pandaria; it's
a shame so many people threw tantrums about "kung fu panda", because
the stories in that world were totally new and very interesting; I
thought it was great learning about a completely new civilisation with
its own history etc.
