Dont spend your VPs on your brandnew ilvl 600 epic cloak

My alt got his epic ilvl 600 cloak a few days ago. I decided _not_ to
spend 500 VPs for the upgrade as the legendary cloak was just around the
corner. That was a wise decision. When I transformed the cloak to
Legendary 10 mins ago it also included 2 free upgrades to ilvl 608. So
save your VPs. :)

Yeah, they did that because people would've been annoyed to have to
spend it twice; they apparently couldn't make it easily carry over the
upgrade level. Should've made the 600 cloak not upgradeable after the
legendary became available though!

I'd kinda thought most people didn't? Maybe hardcore raiders do but I
haven't since the first few weeks of the expansion, and I'd assumed
that was where most people were. Only a small minority of people are
min-maxing raiders, as far as I'm aware, and for the rest... well,
valor doesn't grow on trees, and it's too much effort for too little
reward to go out and try to max it every week; I personally pick up
200-500 a week, probably, varying depending on whether I can be
bothered farming 50 stones on the timeless isle or not, and how many
times I do the 20 elites daily.

doesn't take much work.

Lazy dogs. :) So apparently they gave up because it would have made big
impacts to the code behind it. I remember back in the lich king days
they promised us that the default 16 slot bag would be replaceable by
bigger bags in WOTLK. that was 4 years ago. 5.4 is alive and we still
cant swap it to a royal satchel or a single-slot pouch hehe...
