Valuing Spinal Reaper vs. Bonereaver's Edge

My guild uses a fixed-value DKP system. I copied the values from the
website of an established guild (www.afraidyet.net), and they've worked
out pretty well so far.

However, I discovered that Spinal Reaper is missing from the list, so I
need to come up with a value for it.

I figure my best bet is to compare the Reaper to Bonereaver's Edge, which
I do have a DKP value for. They're both 2H weapons that drop off Ragnaros,
so it seems like a fair comparison.

How do these two compare? Should the Reaper be worth more or less DKP
than the Edge? 10% less? 20% more? Are they equal? I don't play an
endgame warrior, so I don't have a good feel for the comparative worth of
these two weapons.

(So far, the only website I've found that has values for both items puts
the Reaper at about 8% less DKP than the Edge.)

Any suggestions?

I wouldn't bother giving it any DKP value, as it's never gonna drop

At least from my experience...

Heh, we have been killing Rag for about 9 months now and haven't seen
neither a single Spinal Reaper nor a Bonereaver's Edge, so yup. :)

On the other hand, we have exactly one Bindings of the Windseeker in
the guild, and another guild (who haven't been in MC half as long as
us) already got 2 finished Thunderfurys and a 3. on the way...
Luck of the draw I guess.

We have gotten 14 Azuresong Mageblades though ... funky loot. :p


Anyway, back to the original question - our officers have valued both
Spinal Reaper and Bonereaver's Edge at the same value too (and both GM
and assistant GM are warriors, so I assume they know what they talk
about :p).

My guild valued Bonereaver's at 200 and Spinal at 225. I'm not sure
exactly what the reasoning behind that was - it looks to me like you
could make them even and be unlikely to have anyone upset.
