Since there doesn't seem to be a linux version of Curse Client, can someone
tell me how to install addons in linux WoW?

Assuming it's the same as Windows, copy the addon folder to
World of Warcraft/Interface/AddOns/.

Put them in:

${WOWDIR}/Interface/Addons/

Exactly like on Windows or OS X.

Did that - it didn't work. Still no addons.

Which takes many words to say exactly what I said:

${WOWDIR}/Interface/Addons/

I've done exactly as people have suggested, but still have no addons in
linux wow. The forum post above does in fact suggest a second location for
addons, so I copied them all to that location.

I'm beginning to wonder if there's some control file somewhere else in the
wow setup that points to the addon folder and each addon therein.

In my situation, obviously simply copying addon folders from my windows wow
setup into the same location(s) in the linux setup is not enough. I'm
missing a step somewhere...
