EZ Mode? Oh my

So my lame 69 DK tank queues up for the TK instances in Outland because
I have some quests that I never had a chance to turn in (LFG will only
give me Utgard Keep and... something).

So, I get into a group after not too long for.. um.. not Botanica or
Mechanar, but the other one.

We pull the first room and everything dies quickly, despite the fact the
hunter has growl on. We pull the second room and on to the first boss at
which point we notice there's only three of us because two DPS are
sitting at the zone-in location.

We kick one, but are not allowed to kick the other one.

So we continue on past most of the instance (we kill the two bosses that
share a room, one at a time) and are on our way to the last (??) boss
when the healer disconnects. I manage to kill a huge stone golem after
he one-shots the hunter, solo without heals, but then the hunter drops.

I wait around a bit but no one else shows up, so I leave.

Still, 3 level 69-70 characters having no trouble it what was, when
69-70 was around level cap, one of the hardest 5 man instances in the
game.

A) We're all more powerful after 7 years since those instances were
made; new abilities, stat changes, heirlooms, etc etc.

B) DKs are overpowered. Especially Blood DKs :-P

There is that. it is THE faceroll class. I didn't think it was possible
to have a class that was easier to tank with than a Paladoofus, but I
was wrong. I can LITERALLY hit random buttons on the hotbar and tank
effectively.

Yeah, but damn.

It does sound more than I'd expect, yeah! I've had no real trouble
duoing various things at-level with my bf, so long as one of us can
heal a bit, but solo... well, point B probably answers that ;-)

I think I'll have to try dual spec on my DK sometime; he used to be
blood but I thought I'd better try a dps spec in case I ever wanted to
group (I hate tanking pugs), so went unholy - I have a feeling soloing
stuff as Blood will be rather on the easy side, though!

I think they all seem pretty much faceroll , probably until panda level.

Leveling 4 in parallel
At 81 the warlock seems the most OP, then arms warrior then DK then a
sad sad last is the druid. Of course I haven't a clue how to play with
all the new talents, even the druid is just slower, sooooo many choices.

And I don't get much chance to learn.
On the warlock I was just thinking 'how can I figure out stuff if the
mobs die before I can get a decent rotation?' oh....wait
dot dot AOE...oooooh pretty ,read the tooltip on what I just used,
mobs dead,voidlord is tapping its ...foot?
AOE loot, handin quest.

I just finger roll 1,2,3 tab 1,2,3 tab 1,2,3,4,5
Even then I often miss a couple, no feeling in the little and next
fingers and just bash them all at once.
I expect it will get a bit harder but I have 6-0 free and then I
suppose I should macro something and assign mouse buttons.
But thats another learning experience for later, once the deluge of new
things settles down.

gear, stats, attributes, glyphs have all been retuned many times
the instance hasn't

They are tuned so that all appropriate geared characters have to perform
reasonably over 100 or more cycles before they NPCs do their
strangeness, 10% more damage and 10% mitigation means 3 don't trigger
what 5 could barely avoid.
The hunter was one shot, a lot have one early shot the tank is supposed
to eat then not much for a long time.
Works against rock paper scissors, tanks, healer,dps except you went in
with 5 of the new model rock wrapped in paper with embedded scissors
against mobs that have been bludgeoned by nerf bats incessantly for 5 years.

They are probably getting tired and arthritic and just lay down
pretending to be dead and hoping you will go away so they can get back
to updating facebook. Thats why they are always so cranky when they see you.

If it was up to them they would just pile the loot at the entrance,
really ,they have got the idea what you really want by now but Blizzard
sends performance monitors around now and again to check.

I have recently leveled my pally AH basher to 65 just by queueing for
LFDs so I could make the famous MOLL-E (cancelling/reposting 400+ glyphs
goes a little faster with a portable mailbox). Despite the low level
dungeons now are p*ss easy and most of a group wears heirlooms Im still
pretty happy about the runs as I learn a bit more about rotations for
this class. Otherwise I would have hit rock bottom when talking about
dps. So I consider them as training grounds. :)

or it can be interpreted just as a lot of 'or's

It is the interneat , people communicating without context or cues.
confusion and contradiction is to be expected and nothing to worry about.
