Post by John SalernoOk, my last post seems not to have shown up, but in case it does later,
sorry!

Am I neglecting any good feral talents, or is that decent? Another option
would be to skip Berserk and get OoC, which is maybe a better choice.
This build does not seem to have any purpose.
You took Natural Shapeshifter which is PvP talent but you skipped Nurturing
Instinct and Primal Tenacity which are more powerful PvP talents.
Considering ferals will have to use rogue type gear in WotLK which has zero
intellect, you should be getting used to use shapeshifting less and less in
PvP. So, if you feel you need Natural Shapeshifter for PvP skip the talent
now while you have intellect on your gear and add it while leveling to 80.
You took just 2 points in Naturalist. It is a key feral talent, the best
effect/point investment for ferals (due to physical damage increase of
course, not HT casttime reduction). No other spec is ever going to get that
talent, only ferals (in WotLK it will be possible to change HT into
equivalent of Flash Heal with glyph and then Naturalist would be ok for
healing build but since druids are getting Nourish as fast direct heal and
powerful glyphs for regrowth + swiftmend push use of HT out of viable
options, so in WotLK it will still be true that Naturalist is only for
ferals).
You skipped OOC. I can understand that, it has to be skipped if you want to
try Berserk. Too bad OOC got buffed (and is now great for any spec) while
Berserk was ok-ish at first and then it was nerfed couple of times and in
its current state it is rather poor. I would take OOC over Berserk.
You took Thick Hide. Again, in WotLK at lvl80 we will have less armor than
at lvl70, so you should skip the talent now when you have armor on your
tanking gear and take it later to compensate lack of armor on new items.
Survival of the Fittest is a lot better investment for that 3 talents (6%
stats and PvE uncritability by default, meaning you could drop all
defense/resilience from your tanking gear, also great talent for PvP).
If you lack points and want your build for PvP (to get NI and PT) drop
Predatory Instinct and maybe also Shredding Attacks (you are not going to
have many occasion to use Shred against good opponents). In case your build
is for tanking also drop these and one or two points from Infected Wounds
(btw. does it work on bosses?) and take Protector of the Pack, Natural
Reaction, maybe even Primal Precision (for expertise). You can drop Brutal
Impact as well. To make it cat build you will need Primal Precision, but you
can drop Infected Wounds.
my propositions:
PvP: http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=0ZxGMscbdbeRhcuho0E (that or OOC
instead of Berserk)
Tanking: http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=0ZxGRscrzceRczuho0E (some of the
points can be moved)
Dps: http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=0ZxGMsfrz0eR0huqo0E (it is not
possible to make "clean" dps build - some non-dps talents have to be taken
just to get to next tier, f.e. Survival Instincts)
