Where is the path to Searing Gorge?

I got my 1st set of quest in SG but I can't find the path in the Badlands.
Anyone have the coords to the SG path in BL? And where is the Alliance
city/port with a Gryphon?

There's 3 ways into the Searing Gorge.

From the Burning Steppes through Blackrock Mountain

- Not advisable unless you can survive the Burning Steppes

One from the Badlands

- The path is easy to miss. It's just south of Kargath, the horde camp.
This is the easiest way to get there.

One from Loch Modan

- Through the Stonewrought Pass. This can only be done if you complete the
quest chain to get the key to the gate. I believe it starts from a dwarf
guard on the Loch Modan side, but I'm not sure. It involves killing an
elite lizard in the Searing Gorge, so you have to go the Badlands way at
least once.


There is no alliance flight point in the Searing Gorge, but there is a
neutral one. Thorium Point is located on the northern edge of the gorge.
It's easy to miss if you've never been there.

Thorium Point is the western grey patch in the northern mountains of the
zone. There's just a small path leading up to it.

No, the quest starts from the lizard. He drops the item that gives you the
quest.

The easiest way to find the lizard is to look for the dwarf trapped in the
outhouse, the one who needs some silk cloth to use for toilet paper. The
lizard is in the canyon behind and to the southeast of the outhouse.
