When I initially earnt this spell the first time I dies afterwards I saw
the option to resurrect and thought - great - this Rebirth will help
alot!

But since then I have never had the option to use it after death -
always have to run back to my body. I have enough mana at the point of
death and I have Maple Seeds in my main bag inventory but still no
Rebirth. I'm wondering if I dreamed that resurection now??

So what's the deal on rebirth - can a druid self rez at all? Was my
first experience perhaps the act of an unseen Priest somewhere and not
of my rebirth spell?

Can someone explain how rebirth works please.

The Druid can't self-resurrect. You can resurrect someone else once
every 30 minutes.

I thought that was the case seeing how I couldn't seem to do it. I
guess my first experience was perhaps a rez by a priest I didn't see and
assumed it was rebirth since I only just got it.

I aminterested to read on the forums that Blizzard will be removing the
3 minute countdown timer for the rez and that ours is the only rez we
can use in battle.

I think I may have to find another slot on my bar for rebirth after all.

Maybe a Warlock castet a pre-ressurection on you.
This will enable an additional button next to the "Release" button which
is called "Ressurect".

Warlock usually do this on the main-rezzer.

Cheers :)

Wrong, the button does, in fact, say "reincarnate". :P

Interesting to know - thx. What lvl do Warlocks get this spell and does
it last on you intil you die or does it time out after a while if you
manage to keep yourself in one piece?

Sorry, just realized that link doesn't answer your question completely.

Warlocks can first get soulstone at level 18. It uses a soul shard as a
reagent. Once created, it stays in your inventory until you log out.

It has to be used while still alive in order to rez. When the warlock
uses the stone, he can select himself or a party member. If that person
dies within the next 30 minutes, they will be able to rez themselves.

Warlocks commonly use them on healers before a hard battle so that a
total party wipe doesn't require a corpse run.

Once the stone has been used, the warlock can create another another
stone but the use of it has a thirty minute cooldown. So you can't have
one active on more than one person at a time.

Only Warlocks and Shamans have a self-resurrecting ability. Warlocks can use
this ability on other players but it's unlikely if you weren't grouped with
one. Chances are that someone just cast a Res on you.

It's a res spell. You cannot cast it on yourself, but the advantage of Druid
res is that you can raise dead allies in the middle of combat, which is nice
for boss fights.
