Well, one of my friend told me that you can play TFT using ROC CD. I've
tried that at work and TFT starts just fine.

However, since I have Alcohol 120% installed on my work PC, I'm not sure
whether it is due to Alcohol 120% that enables me to play using the
emulation mode or whether it really works.

Well, I'll be damn if that works since I have no problem copying ROC, but
aren't able to make a perfect 1:1 copy of TFT.

Before any newcomers come and flame me for this I have bought the original
games, both ROC and TFT. What? You don't believe that I've actually bought
the game?!!? Here! Here is my cdkey as proof! ->

Yes, you can run TFT with the ROC CD.

The TFT CD will not work on my system at all! The reason for this seems to
be that I have an internal DVD/CDRW and an external DVDRW.

I discovered this because after freshly reinstalling for the 8th time, when
TFT would again not be recognized, and spending countless hours surfing for
an answer with the breaking point coming from a cookie-cutter mail from
Blizzard Tech, I stumbled upon the fact that all I need is my ROC CD.

Great expansion! The price IS worth it if you're wondering.

LMAO. Sorry Heini, this old goat is sometimes a little bit stubborn and/or
sceptical to the truth. I apologize for this :-)

Yes, indeed, it does work. Since I can't copy TFT, I'm contempted to simply
use the ROC CD. And I can copy ROC CD just fine.

NP! And dont worry, I am for sure a much older wc3/tft-fool than you :o)
(39yo) and
I'll bet that we've never played against each other as my lvl might be 10
steps lower than yours.

Btw: it is interesting to see how these young people all over europe know
how to shout at each other
english four letter words in random games ;o)
