I get so many disconnects especially when a boss dies that the game is
virtually unplayable. Is this only in Europe? We had some realm fusions
going on

I dont disconnect at bosses, but I kept DC'ing a lot when I changed
zone. I found out the Oqueue addon caused this.

I don't have that addon, but of course it could be another addon.
Unfortunately I find it very hard to play without any addons at all, I
could remove the ones first that I need the least. Thanks for the tip.

Yeah. I have the game on 2 computers. One of them also had the Oqueue
addon installed. And this addon caused 3-5 seconds lock-ups at zone
changes and especially after teleports. I learned how ton avoid the DC,
but I never used the addon anyway so I decided to delete it.
I can imagine other zone dependant or boss fight dependant addons can
cause DCs too.
Maybe your install is so messed up that a new WoW install with all fresh
addons from Curse is the best solution?

It actually happened after the last install which was a complete fresh
install. I was away for 3 months so I thought it was due to all the changes

You can still try to make a repair though. The repair tool is found
somewhere in your wow folder. :)
Btw. Maybe an unnecessary question. But do you keep your addons updated?

yes I keep all the addons update. The reason I think it's not on my side
is that many of my fellow guildies also often dc of lately.
Apparently it is not on the united states servers because noone of you
has experienced this.

Go the otherway. Disable all of them and see if it disconnects you. Then
reënable only the ones you have to have (For me these would be Dominos,
DBM, and a few CT_mods. Then a few more that you really want (Carbonite,
Turnin, etc)

I don't think that the raid even if it's looking for raid would
appreciate me not healing them the entire time till the boss dies. I
cannot heal properly without healbot and dbm.
SF
ps yesterday I was in normal SOO and it went perfect all the way, no dc
for me at all, so probably it's something in lfr

Or something server side. It's pretty hard for an addon to dc you.

The server I am on recently merged. I repaired and disabled all the
addons except DBM and recount (I was on my hunter so no problem with
that) last night. I think it might be something with my internet because
not only wow often shut down but also ventrillo.

Open a dosprompt, do a ping -t <ip adress> and play WoW. Some ip
adresses ignores ping so you have to find an ip that answers your ping.
If you DC you can scroll back in the dosprompt and look for timeouts.
And if you have timeouts you have to check your modem, cables etc. and
maybe even contact your isp.
ADSL and cable Modems are usually built to last 4-5 years before they're
worn out.

I forgot to mention it CAN be remnants from a DDoS attacks or similar
somewhere on your route between your computer and your realm's server.
I sit in Copenhagen, Denmark, and my realm is placed in Paris, France.
Until recently I had random DCs and sometimes it lasted for several minutes.
My internet connection was fine and stable so I did a Tracert to my
realm and saw my line to Paris stopped somewhere in Germany (more
exactly around a hub near Dusseldorf or Frankfurt as far as I remember).
Afaik the raid/dungeon servers are placed outside London and I cant
remember the last time I've experienced DCs in raids or dungeons unless
the so-called world server went down and kicked everybody off. Only
when I was PvE'ing on the realm server in Paris...
