Anybody tried Elder Scrolls Online?

I've just read a few reviews ranging from bad to promising. None of
them were really "WOOHOO!".. Well. Some hardcore fans are above the
sky while others are pretty disappointed. Some reviews found here:

Has anybody inhere tested it? Do you like it? Pros and cons?

My son played the beta and liked it. I looked at it for about 3 seconds
and said, "I'm never going to play that."

It is exclusively first person; while that is tolerable for a single
player game it is completely intolerable for a MMO.

From what I read you can switch 1st person off.
I like the first person on the videos and a lot of the other game play
seems appealing. If you can keep up situational awareness it adds a lot
to immersion, if the interface doesn't intrude too much.
Having to track and remember and rubberneck is part of the process.

If it sustains a few million and lasts until christmas I will likely
give it a go. If,if,if.
Some Pve seem to like it.
Pvp-ers seem to hate it so thats a big plus :-)

Maybe. He couldn't, but this was in the beta.
