Post by Catriona RHah, ok, make that 8 90s, turns out the Hallows End stuff is great exp
(plus I think exp to lvl got nerfed too), I'd got a character up to 87
doing the non-Pandaria buckets, doing the Pandaria ones (and more
like, opening them up, Grookin Hill, Eastwind Rest, Vale of Eternal
Blossoms chains all give good exp), plus as many treasures as are
easily obtainable on the way (didn't go off the roads more than a
short way, nor into annoying caves/densely packed areas) took me so
far into 89 that I figured I might as well do a few more quests and
finish it off!
Well that was very effective for me, as someone who's usually rubbish
at powerlevelling - all four of my 86ish characters are now 90, and
all nine of my non-ironman 90s now have the 540 ring from Headless
Horseman (priest didn't need it but got it on a greed roll), and most
of that was done in the last 3 days!
Got a nice routine going for Pandaria by the end, knew exactly where
to go, in which order and which treasures were worth the time to go
and grab, each character had to do a few quests in Dread Wastes at the
end to finish off, but still, very effective levelling doing something
other than questing the same zones once again - considering I now have
11 90s, then variety is a good thing! This means I'm all set for all
my alts to get to Draenor for learning professions... only downside is
doing that Tanaan intro plus garrison setup 7 times before I have all
my profs covered... argh :-( Have a feeling it might take me a while
to get round to them all, pity, as I've found all of them fun to play!
Next target: all 4 new 90s through the Blasted Lands chain and maybe
spending some time on Timeless Isle for new weapons... probably won't
do all of them, luckily I knew exactly where to find the BOA 2h 450
str sword, as I previously only had one, and three of the characters I
just levelled are platewearing 2h wielders - got two more swords while
I was on the way round :-D Ofc Timeless would be better, but 450 is
better than nothing!
