Congrats. I am still trying on 9 characters every day this year and as
many as I had in previous years. Still no joy here.

Have to say I'd always thought it a fairly common mount since I had it
on at least two characters several years ago but if both you and Fvert
have taken this long with that many characters (and he still hasn't
got it), maybe it's not so common as I thought it was!

Now if only the sword would drop for my rogue, it's a big upgrade for
him (which means if I see it at all, it'll be on another alt :-P)

I have a guildie with 24(!) 90es spread over 2 accounts. Is it
necessary to tell that she got angry at me when I told her about my
mount? :)

Lol omg :-) I guess it really is less common than I'd thought, or
maybe it had a higher droprate back when I got it!

Can't believe 24 90s, that's insane, I'm on... 7 lol. Got 4 86-87 too,
might get one or maybe two up to 90 before Nov 13th, but that'll be
it.

Hah, ok, make that 8 90s, turns out the Hallows End stuff is great exp
(plus I think exp to lvl got nerfed too), I'd got a character up to 87
doing the non-Pandaria buckets, doing the Pandaria ones (and more
like, opening them up, Grookin Hill, Eastwind Rest, Vale of Eternal
Blossoms chains all give good exp), plus as many treasures as are
easily obtainable on the way (didn't go off the roads more than a
short way, nor into annoying caves/densely packed areas) took me so
far into 89 that I figured I might as well do a few more quests and
finish it off!

Guess I'll repeat that with some alts, then... shame I didn't pick up
on this earlier in the holiday, it'll be a bit of a rush now, as the
character I just levelled wasn't the one I most wanted to get to 90
before the expansion, oops!

Well that was very effective for me, as someone who's usually rubbish
at powerlevelling - all four of my 86ish characters are now 90, and
all nine of my non-ironman 90s now have the 540 ring from Headless
Horseman (priest didn't need it but got it on a greed roll), and most
of that was done in the last 3 days!

Got a nice routine going for Pandaria by the end, knew exactly where
to go, in which order and which treasures were worth the time to go
and grab, each character had to do a few quests in Dread Wastes at the
end to finish off, but still, very effective levelling doing something
other than questing the same zones once again - considering I now have
11 90s, then variety is a good thing! This means I'm all set for all
my alts to get to Draenor for learning professions... only downside is
doing that Tanaan intro plus garrison setup 7 times before I have all
my profs covered... argh :-( Have a feeling it might take me a while
to get round to them all, pity, as I've found all of them fun to play!

Next target: all 4 new 90s through the Blasted Lands chain and maybe
spending some time on Timeless Isle for new weapons... probably won't
do all of them, luckily I knew exactly where to find the BOA 2h 450
str sword, as I previously only had one, and three of the characters I
just levelled are platewearing 2h wielders - got two more swords while
I was on the way round :-D Ofc Timeless would be better, but 450 is
better than nothing!

A friend of mine has been doing the HH instance on 16 toons every day
and still doesn't have it, and he already had the holiday achievement on
at least 4 of those 16 toons.

He's gotten two swords, but his rouge is a dagger rouge.

Same issue here, but with heirlooms from Garrosh. 2 loom 1H axes, no
knife. No knife... Seriously. I dont understand why a rogue cant use
any other 1H than a knife for backstabbing now its so f****** important
for even the most basic rotation. :(

Oh wow, final day of the event (well, I think it's the last day,
perhaps tomorrow too?), and... it dropped!! :-D Talk about luck :-)

Although, I now know how utterly ridiculous the animation is on a
sheathed sword while stealthing, sigh... I stealth everywhere because
the human male run animation is awful, but having a sword waving
around madly with every step isn't really any better (annoyingly the
sword looks fine while running; a bit too horizontal when viewed from
the side, but way better from the rear than it is when stealthing)
