For goodness sake, we're in a totally dead part of the expansion, it
should be at an alltime low, yet Draenor is queued?! I am so not
looking forward to WoD going live if it's queued *now*, when there's
nothing new going on, and so far fewer people playing than usual. I
really do wonder why Blizz have never been willing to stick a cap on
inbound character transfers, because we've needed that since MoP
launch.

Peeps are farming the last mounts, achs etc before they disappear? :)

Could be but I wouldn't have expected to be actually queued, when we
don't even have a release date yet. That gives me a REALLY bad feeling
about what it'll be like when WoD does go live, MoP launch was bad
enough :-/ Quite glad to be seeing some of the zones on beta, when
it's only a bit crowded!

Is your server merged?
Try and log in on the other realms, maybe they are doing something with
joint queues?? wild guess.

Maybe a psychologist convention created 500 accounts for an experiment? :-)

I would try but aren't subbed.

Funny thing, I had a few weeks to myself.
Pack other half off to Europe. $3500 air fares, drive to airport, couple
of coffees waiting for the ridiculous check in delay, $12,
car parking for 2 hours $25, drive home
oh petrol is 'cheap' at $1.45 $60 of petrol on the way
anticipating WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW 18/7 for a week

but just can't be bothered spending $15 subbing
spent $150 more on petrol and drove 1600 km visiting and lending a hand
to friends in the country instead, cat lodging while away $150

I guess I am pretty over it :-( I still like it but just can't face the
grind, driving country roads for 20 hours in winter storms at night is
more attractive.
Prices just to show how ridiculously cheap wow is to play :-)

Nope, it'll never be merged I think, given the 1500+ queues every day
at peak time for a month or more after every patch through the last
two expansions... it's one of the 3-4 highest pop in Europe, hence why
I'm pretty worried for WoD if it's already getting queued now!

Hehehe :-) Have to say I'm not playing live a lot, pondering putting
my 2nd account on hold, since I mainly play beta at present, but it's
so cheap it seems a bit pointless freezing the account (which probably
has 2 months+ left on it anyway) only to reopen it come WoD. Still
enjoy the game, but it's hard playing the old stuff when I've got
shiny new things to look at, even though I do have a bunch of stuff I
want to work on on live!

Heh, good guess, considering I had no idea when it was due... exactly
2 months left on it. Of couse my main one renews next week, but I
still play that one at least a couple of times a week, typical! Oh
well, no moneysaving for me then, guess I'd better play my 2nd account
some more and make it worth it :-P

Haven't played WoW in something like a year and a half, but sometime
between last week and yesterday, a battle.net login queue has shown up
when I go to play Hearthstone.
So I'm wondering if your queue isn't so much a server queue as a
battle.net queue?

Or maybe it's a "we're futzing with the login servers *now* to
hopefully make em handle when WoD goes live better" queue?

The Battle.net queue is damn annoying, but at least with WoW you can get
around it by launching the game directly. No such luck with Hearthstone.

I am very concerned about the WoD launch and have taken my accounts off
auto-renew.

As it turns out the problem has been a DDOS by a group calling
themselves @Lizardsquad. The attack has affected Sony and Playstation
networks as well.
