What's the difference in the two expansion packs . The 'deluxe' is
quite a bit more. Is it a boxed CD rather than a direct down load ?

Digital Deluxe is still a download, but contains the ingame bonuses
that also come with the physical collectors edition, in this case a
pet and a mount, and I think various cosmetic stuff in other Blizzard
games.

No. It comes with a limited mount and a companion.

It also ads a mount for Heroes of the Storm, and something for Diablo
III.

Special mounts normally cost $25 and companions $10.
