I've just made a new aura in weak auras so I never wield a fishing pole
anymore when I do a battleground. I was the raidleader in that bg we
just lost...

I was wondering why my damage was so low. :/

But I somehow still managed to do 3 direct kills though. I may have a
very sharp hook.

Lol been there, many times - it's easier to notice when you play a
melee character as nothing works, as a caster it's only your dmg
figures that make it really obvious! Luckily I have the artifact
fishing pole now and the big murloc head tends to be noticeably enough
different to my normal staff that I might actually notice it... ;-)

I fish in the garrison pool (epic turtle mount) between the BGs. And
normally I remember swapping to my weapon. But it was a very close race
in this BG and if I used my staff I think we could have won it. :/

Finally! Got the turtle. :)

Kinda fun. This reminds me of vanilla. the other night I sat between
1am and 3am and fished. From ~400 swings I got 5 frostdeep minnows
@1.4% drop rate.
I went to the garrison again 40 mins ago, 5 swings 1 minnow, a BG
popped, won it (ofc), ported back to the garrison lake, got another 9
minnows in 75 swings and the mount dropped. 12.5% catch rate @3pm.
This isn't rng.

In vanilla I remember there was a fish that was fishable between
midnight and 6am only.

Heh, how odd, I'll remember that when I get around to farming that
turtle, didn't expect different droprate at different times like that!
