Ordos with a level 21 warlock :)

I decided to form a Ordos raid through raidfinder just 1 hour before the
weekly reset. I still have 1-2 item which can be replaced by a
warforged drop from this dude. :)
15 peeps in the raidfinder, spam invite, all assist etc. and I told them
to invite other peeps from their realms while I spammed the Refresh
button in the raid finder window. A few peeps went to the Shrine and
spammed /trade as we all knew this would be a one-shot. Someone
apparently invited a level 21 lock and 3 peeps whispered me about this
lowlevel lock and I replied "wtf?? oh lol".
Well. I decided to ignore the fact he was lvl 21 as I was sure this
raid would fall apart within the next 15-20 mins anyway. 10 mins later.
Full raid - 1 tank, 3 shammy heals, rest dps. W00000t! BIG BADABOOM!
Dead Ordos. The lowlevel lock won a warforged belt. :D

I seriously love those golden moments! =)

:-D

Haven't done Ordos in ages, maybe I'll manage to tear myself away from
D3 tomorrow and take some characters over for quick runs on reset day

Me neither. I do the celebrities every week as I want the full 550 pvp
set (for achies). but tonight I also decided to do Ordos.
Anyhoo! I had a little chat with the warlock after the Ordos fight and
he told me he would go for the celestials as well. I wished him good
luck. :)

He managed to join a cele fight; <Loading Image...>

Me neither. I do the celebrities every week as I want the full 550 pvp
set (for achies). but tonight I also decided to do Ordos.

Hehe I don't really do those any more either, sometimes catch them on
my shaman who's parked right next to them but tend to forget, I've
been neglecting WoW (at least on live) badly recently, too many things
to do and not enough time!

That said, beta is showing me that decent drops now will be of use
while levelling, took till lvl 96ish before my template priest caught
up to my live (560 ilvl) priest on overall itemlvl (helped by three
high-end crafted epics, too - I'm suspecting that the mine will be
toned down a tad before it goes live, so I might not be able to
acquire those so fast while levelling!), seems worth gearing up a
little then, as it won't all be replaced instantly! Quest rewards will
replace 496 Timeless gear fast (I was in all 500+ by the end of SMV)
but 550+ drops will last much longer.
