I WC3 original, you play missions as orcs, undead, and so on and within each
race there are 9 chapters for humans, 8 chapters for undead, 8 for orcs, and
7 for night elves.

Does the expansion add more chapters to each race ? I have read over the
blizzard.com features and FAQ and it is sort of confusing what you get with
the expansion pack.

the expansion pack.
There are three main campaigns and one bonus one. But its a bit of a mess -
all the races come in now and then. Now you're playing NE, next you play
Nagas, in pops a human battle... its all mixed up. But fun, nonetheless!
There are 24 new missions overall, eight more or less night elves, six
more or less human/blood elves and 10 more or less undead. They are
really good fun too. I finished the last undead mission this morning.
I thought the ending was a bit lame, but it was fun getting there.
Nice CGI though.

There is a seperate orc campaign, which is the story of between the
tutorial missions of the original, and the start of the orc campaign.
This is separate, and there is no voice acting in it. I guess the
updated scenario editor will now let you create campaigns as well. You
get to that from something like single player/custom campaign. I don't
know how many missions there are in this one. I have only played it
for about 5 minutes...

There is also the bonus campaign which is a bit wierd, and rather like
diablo 2... rather than a normal RTS... you even get your personal
stash to take onto the next scenario :-). There are rather a lot of
diablo 2 referances too, and they
give special thanks to Blizzard North in the end credits (which again
are much worse than the "out takes" etc. of the orginal). I don't
think there is anything
extra in the credits for finishing the game on hard mode either, which
is a shame.

All in all it is worth buying (heck I bought it!), and the units
should make battle.net more intresting... once I get my connection
from home working, I will be there :-).
