Just a heads-up for anyone who likes brawling, that you have until 6.0
to finish your achievements, and no longer, as the season ends then
and a new one starts in WoD... I've not done much with it at all,
having fast realised that low-dps healer specs aren't ideal for it,
and never got round to going back, doh! I've powered my way through
msot of the card collecting achievement over the past 2 days, just
need to spam scenarios for one of the cache drops now (got one on the
first scenario I did, so no doubt I'll be far less lucky with the
other!)

Then I get the fun of doing the fights... as a not-at-all social
person I really wish it wasn't done as a spectator sport, even at 2am
there were 10+ people in the place tonight. I'd rather not have
everyone see me make an idiot of myself on (to them) "easy" fights!
;-) Oh well, I'm rank 3 at present and I think it's rank 4 that lets
me buy the battle pet, which is my main goal, anything else is a
bonus. Strangely enough I do not expect to get all the achievements...

On the subject of achievements, I just realised I can finally go for
Glorius! in 6.0, as, so long as it doesn't change again, Disc priests
will get Silence - the rares I miss for this achievement (other than
Sullik'Shor who was just too close to the farm to ever actually be
alive anytime I checked) are mainly pesky pandaren with their
self-heals which I can't interrupt, and a couple of jinyu with their
uber dmg abilities, which I can't interrupt... problem solved, I hope!

warrior, poor warrior puppet of an incompetent puppet master.
Soooo close is not really much use when you may not get another chance
for days.
Today I was hovering there on my a warlock chatting, warrior was miles
away. It spawned

( looks up from text to npc on screen)
zone> sorry, Sulik'Shor is down
seriously..no more than 5 seconds from spawn to dead

I got the forager gloves and pick and..something else? on all the
appropriate chars last time I was playing. Long after they were much use.

Oh please may there not be so many self heals and stuns in Wod so the
warrior may get just a tiny bit of joy. >.< this much would be an
improvement :-)

I had hopes, the Blizzard updater took a long time with 'initialising'
and a some disk activity and downloads
but not V6

I'm doing the opposite, may as well enjoy the free gold (apparently
valor gets converted to gold with 6.0) and then use gold/lesser charms

Hah, I only got the foragers gloves once... on a tauren herbalist
(racial does NOT stack with gloves, ie, they're useless to him). Never

Yeah , often out farming I see a priest trying a quest/daily
miniboss/rare or a bunch of adds in pandaland and they are in trouble.
They are -usually- fairly happy to have a lump of plate or a voidlord
drop in and distract the mob for a while. All heals gratefully received
:-) The engineer can even resurrect, sometimes, it is an engineering
item so can sometimes explode as well.

Hehe in all fairness, I'm mostly quite good at soloing (so long as
it's not a burst dmg needed kinda fight), but anything which needs
interrupts, I've had it. Self-healing mobs are the worst, the
Zandalari Dinomancers were impossible for me when dino isle first came
out (nowadays I can outburst them, with better gear), same for the
pandaran rares (I can outburst the low lvl ones now, not so convinced
about the higher lvl ones...). Basically for self-healing mobs, I need
to outgear them way more than any other class does, and mobs with
interruptable massive nukes aren't much better.

That said, on some fights with uninterruptable dmg I do better than
pure dps classes, as I can absorb so much inc dmg, so I guess it's
swings and roudabouts. Amazing the difference gear makes though, my
draenei priest runs the same spec as my main, but is 491 ilvl compared
with 560 - I'm getting owned on Timeless isle lol, by mobs I'd
forgotten that my lack of interrupt can be a problem ;-)

Dont wait for Sulik'Shor to spawn. Go to the cave with the Foreboding
Flames on Timeless and loot the blue/purple crystals here. You dont
need to loot many of them before you have a Crystal of Insanity. I've
done that on all 7 alts.
If you have a brandnew 85 char you can team up with a 90 and let him
clear the cave while your 85'er loots the crystals as the crystal of
insanity are usable from 85 and up. ^^

Thankfully I didn't spend much time ACTUALLY camping Sulik'Shor, all the
others got it first try in passing, the Worrier(sic :-) just tried in
passing since it is the farmer/head cook/miner anyway.
Never enough time to ask for a hand, Missed it by this >< much.
I just don't have the reactions to bounce around like Zebedee so my
melee tend to get smacked a lot.

Very easy to harvest, got it after 98 crystals which you can get 10 on a
pass just in the first area if nobody else is picking them up.
Fast respawns so it took about 2 hours an that isn't waiting, just
logout and login to do a tour.
:-) :-)

The elites hurt on the warrior but with buffs it can take one fairly
easily, 3 not so much :-) Make sure you have the fire buff and you can
pretty much grab a roomfull and run out if under fire. Often most of
them are down anyway.

Rank 5 and got my pet, plus did all rank 4 extra fights from the
cards, progress! Watching people doing the high lvl fights, I don't
expect to get a whole lot further though... rank 9 and 10 look
impossible to me :-P

They arent as hard as they look if you use wowhead. :) Hexos is your
only bump on the road. For that you have to macro _all_ CDs, hero,
agi/str/int pot. You also have you tilt your camera so you look at your
char directly from above. I will also recommend any the use of
size-shrinking item like the noggenfogger elixir. That *REALLY* helps!
Do a few test runs before you use any pots and CDs so you know the fight
and the patterns.

Well. After I started using the noggenfogger it was far easier for me.
Honestly I think I could have beaten him for hours as my char was
shrinked. The macro only completes the fight much faster. :)

Did I also mention I failed Durumu every time I did that fight (in
fairness I didn't *die* every time but did do a lot of
self-healing...), and Hexos looks to me significantly worse? ;-) I
don't think it'll go well if I ever meet him lol.

ability, big nuke, needs interrupted... no interrupt (I can survive
once with use of cds, but can't dps enough to prevent him using it
twice) :-P I should get an interrupt with 6.0, but that's too late for
this season!

Oh well, rank 4 and the pet was my target anyway :-)

they work as expected. :) The spineclaws drops those shells that
decrease your aggro range by 90% or so which also can be used outside
Timeless. If they arent fixed with the next expansion they will be
SOOOO useful while leveling in WoD. =)
