Getting to the siege...

My main has just got far enough to be invited to the Siege of Orgimar....

He has a quest, to go to the SoO and turn over an hourglass.
Apparently, he's supposed to enter this through the trashed
fountain in the Valley of Eternal Blossoms.

...but he can't get in. Any ideas??

You can't enter a raid instance unless you're in a raid group.

(I haven't gotten that far, but I assume that's the problem.)

Thanks for the tip. I grouped with a random warlock, and converted to
raid. It turns out that the entrance is not the ruined fountain, but
a regular-for-Wow door at groundlevel on the SW side of the fountain.

We went in, saw a cut-scene (no dialog, though a version with dialog
apparently exists on Youtube).

Noting that the trash were 'merely' 91 Elites, we decided to give it
a try.

We lasted about 3 seconds.
