Got this title last night after a long long grind, very satisfying to
finally complete something like that! According to Guildox, only 1% of
players have it (by comparison, "the Insane", which was my previous
preferred title, has been earned by 2.5% of players, and it's a fair
grind in itself), and I'm really not surprised it's so rare!

http://www.wowhead.com/achievement=7612 is the achievement; for anyone
who doesn't do Archaeology much, in Pandaria you can dig up all kinds
of artifacts, from Pandaren, Mogu and Mantid sites. Each different
artifact has a low chance to proc a "pristine" version, which starts a
quest that lets you put it on display in the Lorewalkers building.
Getting ALL of the Pandaren and Mogu pristine artifacts gives this
achievement. In the process of getting them all, I dug up 282 Pandaren
artifacts and 320 Mogu artifacts. Whew!

I'm still working on the mantid equivalent to this achievement; need
two more pristine artifacts, so far I've found 266 regular artifacts.
Of course, in the process I've got every single one of the "find 20 of
X artifact" achievements, so this is the last one till I'm done with
archaeology for this expansion, I'll be rather glad to give it a rest,
I think! Suits my completist side but it's a bit of a grind... :-P

I sure am :-) Been wearing The Insane for several years now, it's
become more and more common, so I'm happy to have a rarer one to show
off my completist streak ;-)

Grats! I struggled when I starting farming relics for the professor
title. But +600 artifacts... Thats just crazy. :)

Grats! I struggled when I starting farming relics for the professor
title. But +600 artifacts... Thats just crazy. :)

Hehe, yeah, although in some ways it's easier (or, less painful,
anyway) than the relic farming was; Pandaria is smaller, digsites give
more fragments than they used to and it's a lot easier to get sites
that you actually need by using the lorewalker's map when you get
nothing but useless ones (I finished with Mogu artifacts well before I
was done with Pandaren, so the last while I was just digging up
Pandaren and Mantid sites and using the map whenever I found myself
with 4 Mogu sites), but it was certainly a massive grind! By contrast
I'm only on about 180 Tol'vir solves, which was the major one before
Pandaria - and a large number of those came from converting MoP
artifacts into fragments via Brann Bronzebeard!
