Post by n***@gmail.comI would think so. Marks and Honor carried over from original WoW to
BC, so I wouldn't think that would change going from BC to WotLK. In
fact, there were LOTS of people doing BGs in the weeks before BC came
out for this very reason - to accumulate marks and honor for the new
PvP gear.
Yep. It was almost funny. I'm not a PvP'er (like, at all), but a lot
of people in my guild were PvP'ing up a storm in the weeks before TBC
came out all the while complaining about the new PvP gear Blizzard
made available and how it was killing the raids.
It's like they understood the problem, but were powerless to do
anything about it. Like an addicted coke head who hates the dealer
for introducing him to the stuff but can't stop buying :D.
I'll just throw in my $0.03 (inflation) that marks and honor, for
better or for worse, will almost certainly carry over. I'm still not
even sure there will be a new battleground introduced as there has
been a problem with spreading the players too thinly and people having
trouble getting into any BG's if there are too many. Most of the PvP
stuff Blizz has been discussing lately for WoTLK has sounded like
outdoor PVP like Halaa and such.
The PvE rewards of the same nature, such as the Badges of Justice,
will almost certainly be replaced with a "Badge of Frozen Juice" or
something.
