The level 30 Warrior quest, is one. Not sure about any others...

After completing that (the 'Berserk stance' quest) the quest giver sends
you on another quest. The eventual reward for that is an extremely nice
(for low 30s) 2h weapon (either axe, sword or mace. This is the sword -
http://www.thottbot.com/?i=Whirlwind%20Sword ) though you will probably
need some help with the summoned monster (cyclonian - about lvl 40
elite)

Is it the prison-like island off the coast of Ratchet? I don't know, but I've
been wondering the same thing myself.

I also never found a proper quest for the Venture Co. mine in Mulgore. There
was one to gather a supervisor's clipboard, but you didn't have to venture far
inside the entrance to grab that. The place was much much bigger, but I never
found a quest that needed me to go deeper. (I explored it as a ghost, so I
couldn't see the inhabitants).
