I don't mind that so much. Liven's things up. Though I am glad I
hadn't re-learned too many of the classes (after my break at the start
of MoP) before this patch. Ran into a DK tank today that wasn't so
happy about the changes, but fortunately I only gave my DK a bit of
run yesterday, so I'm happy enough with how he plays (though I've only
quested in the tank spec so far)
I haven't really played any of my characters much yet but playing with
the target dummies I'm happy with the 4 I had at 100 anyway, ele
shaman feels a bit basic as it sems to have lost one of the spells I
used without gaining anything extra (well, I *can* have it but that
involves not taking another talent which seems more useful), so fewer
buttons to press, but otherwise they're ok. I was worried about Outlaw
rogue but tbh half the new abilities act much like the old ones, so
just talenting Slice and Dice and macroing the new abilities to use
the old icons and hey, it's near enough recognisable, phew!
Really miss Holy Nova on Disc though, means I have to use Holy for
soloing old content now (it's daft using single target abilities on a
pack I could just oneshot with Holy Nova), and I prefer to use Disc
for soloing, Holy for healing, feels wrong soloing in my heal spec.
Won't matter at higher lvls since I'll want the better single target
dmg then but on TBC and lower content it's an annoyance.

Instead of an 8 second cool down, it's 60 seconds that can be reduced
by casting other direct heals. Though it does seem to heal a whole
lot more now. And flash heals no longer speed up Heal's and Group
Heal's which I miss. Might have to find more haste for his gear.
Might need to fiddle around with the talents a bit more.
I need to try out healing a bit more, my one worldboss attempt was
wrecked by the stupid pvp glitch (people coming from pvp realms to pve
ones don't get their flag autocleared, instead the 5 mins cd starts -
so as a pve player I can't heal half the raid then... hoping that's a
bug and not intended because it's utterly stupid if intended), but so
far I like how powerful the holy words now are, it'll take a little
getting used to how things interact now but seems like it has
potential to be fun to play once I get used to it. I'll have a go in
LFR after Wednesday's reset, need to finish up my legendary ring
anyway, but figured playing *this* week was likely to be a disaster as
nobody knows how to play their class any more ;-)

profession, with glyphs have disappeared.
I need to do that too! Been concentrating on my transmog collection,
with hundreds of greens between a heap of characters, plus two
different Loremasters (both pre and post-Cataclysm), still not got
more than 1/3 complete on any character, great, makes old content much
more meaningful then! Only problem is I'm spoilt for choice and don't
quite know where to go first, so I just did my favourites, Karazhan
and Sunwell, got quite a few new appearances in those, including the
gloves to complete my hunter's Sunwell set, so that's a good start :-)
Also still trying to fix my addons list, luckily most are working fine
but a few haven't been updated, soon I'll get round to trying to
enable the simplest ones which I might be lucky and find work anyway,
but some are just dead unless someone takes them over, annoyingly
including my nameplate addon I've been using for ages; I always found
the default nameplates to be a decent (if slightly large) alternative
to that addon, but I'm not such a fan of the new ones, oh well.
