Is there a quick and simple way to clear all the buttons of my action
bars? I've got all 60 buttons assigned on my L64 mage, and they really
could stand re-organization. I'd like a way to clear the bars without
having to drag and drop each icon.

Hm.... Well, drag an drop 60 buttons would have taken about twice as
long as it took to write this post. No offence meant, but it's really
not that much.
And sorry, i don't think there is a way to clear them all at once.

I just knew someone would come up with this one. What about every
other time that the OP or myself, or anyone else who might be
interested wants to clear all their action bars? His post is entirely
reasonable.

I suspect that would reset far more than just my action bars.

This will allow you to manage all your action bars.

Im not positive but im pretty sure theres a file you can edit or
default to clear out your action bars. I know theres one for chat
windows, as I have had to directly edit that one. At work right now,
but when i get home ill see if i can find it and post it here.

I once used a guildies account when he was in holidays (to try out a
60 warrior, I gave up after an hour) and got his keybindings. It seems
they're stored per account, not per machine.

I can confirm this. Not per se the keybindings, but the positions of
your spells in your action bars are saved on the server. If I play on
my laptop, the action bars are exactly the same as how I configured
them on the Desktop PC without having to change anything.

Ah yes, I put that wrong. I can't remember the keybindings anymore,
but as you said the positions in the action bars was what I was
talking about.

Yep, the most confusing thing is macros are saved on your own computer and
not the server, so when I play on my laptop my macros are all messed up,
because I don't have the same ones on it as on my main PC :-/
