Build cities in World of Warcraft?

Is at possible to build a city or just buildings in World of Warcraft?
Or is that just regular Warcraft?

I haven't even got the game yet.

Just regular warcraft. WoW is a MMORPG something completely different to
regular Warcraft. With all the people in WoW it would quickly be a mess if
everyone made buildings :)

And what a mess it would be. Take one look at UO, once you could
actually build.... I think it took a week and all places were covered.

I'd really hate that to happen to WOW, although it lost its touch for me
recently. RL has some quite nice things that WOW cannot provide.
Rendering for one. The graphics are awesome!
And then there is always this thingie with the different chromosomes...
Ok, so there is a nude patch. But not quite the same.... :-)
