Post by ImmortalCGPost by Thomas J. BoschlooPost by BobJDoes anyone have a macro or know of some command that will allow me to
cast Shadow Word:Pain on myself with one button press?
Powerword Shield (PW:S).
There is an option cast on self in the standard game interface. When you
don't have a valid target for your PW:S you will cast on yourself and
keep your current target.

Personally I find the interface option cast on self a real pain the
a**.
Try to cast a spell on someone who is just out of range? It casts it
on your self wasting time and mana!
The quickest way I find is to cast a spell on yourself is press "alt"
on the keyboard and the hot key of the spell you want to cast.

/cast [harm] Shadow Word: Pain; [help] Power Word: Shield
This will cast the correct spell depending on who you have targeted.
If on a friendly unit, PW:S, if on a mob or opposing faction player,
SW:P. If you select the Big Red "?" as your macro icon, it'll change
the graphic depending on who you have targeted.
www.wowwiki.com has a great page on the new macro commands.
Here's another good one:
/castsequence reset=combat/target Touch of Weakness, Inner Fire,
Shadow Protection, Power Word: Fortitude
This is a nice little buff macro that will allow you to recast ToW (UD
Racial spell) quickly because whenever you change targets or enter/
leave combat the whole sequence resets to the first spell in it.
