Yes.

I've seen a lot of rain. Some lightning, thunder. I haven't seen snow yet.

Try looking in Un'Goro crater, or STV. Heck, it always seems to be raining
there.

The only place I've ever seen snow is in the alterac mountains while
hunting for wintersbite. *

Its not very common, but i've been in a blizzard in Dun Morgoth, and
rainstorms in Dark Shore and Elwynn Forest.

I noticed no lag or any detrimental effect to the weather, although the
noice of the rain makes it more difficult to notice a surprise attack.

It never affected me in this way, but Bulkie (friend who RPs as Bovinis'
brother on Emerald Dream) would have trouble seeing anything when it rained.
So, he would just RP Bulkie as being afraid of the rain and stay out of it.
I think things have worked out better for him (or maybe he just turned down
the weather effects in the interface), because he's not quite as "shy" when
it rains now.

I've seen Rain in STV twice, a Duststorm in Tanaris just recently, and
Fog somewhere I can't remember.

It's very cool. Maybe even more so because it's not a regular
occurance.

But not every zone has a weather effect yet.

It snows in Alterac, rains in elwynn and un'goro, and I've seen a few other
scattered weather effects too, such as the sandstorm in tanaris. Not all of
the zones have weather effects yet, and even when they do it's not on all
the time. *

I spent about 2 hours the other day at Feathermoon Stronghold fishing
for eels, and it rained the entire time, it was quite nice, reminded me
of fishing with my dad when I was a kid in upstate New York.

I've run into sand storms in Sithilus, but no snow yet, but I havent
been in the "winter" zones lately.

I'd really like to see them rotate the zones for weather, I'd love to
see Stormwind/Goldshire/Westfall in winter, or see the trees color in
the fall in Goldshire. I know that some zones have permanent seasons,
but it would be interesting to have real seasons.
