Every so often I'll see a yellow/orange pulsing blob hovering in the
air, about three feet off the ground. I can't seem to interact with
it, not even to have it identified when I hover the cursor over it.
Does anyone here know what it is?

I gather that's something to do with one of the azerite essences for
the Heart of Azeroth necklace, possibly a healer one which stores
overhealing; apparently you get a visual effect of your stored
healing, which seems pretty cool. Haven't got that one myself yet so
can't be sure but I've seen people talking about it - apparently
sometimes it can glitch out and stop following the player it belongs
to, so that might explain if you see it on its own :-)

Not a clue. I saw one of these today about 2m from a flight master and
was very confused.

Ah, Googling seems to reveal it has something to do with the Hunter
support classes (healers).
