Best shadow priest gear 30-39

After much deliberation i've decided to park at the 30-39 bracket to
grind rep with AB / WSG as my shadow priest (undead)
I've been pointed toward a few good twink items, money being no object
i'll pick them up asap.
Staff wise from what i can see the Blue dropped in SM library is the
the best
Wand could be the quest reward from the BFD AD quest - is there
something better?
Robes the +20 stamina ones from the lich in RFD
and rings, 2 x underworld bands.
Trinket would be the horde Grunt one, plus another which may be the
nifty stopwatch? (might need some help with the quest to get it)

What are the best things to pop in the rest of the slots?

Having just crossed over to level 40, being relatively wealthy
(but money is still an object, heh), etc, here's what I found:

If money is no object, the Staff of Jordan might be better:

Tho even if it were considered better (not sure that I would say
that, except that it "looks real cool"), the SoJ sell for over 300g
on my server and the Illusionary Rod is a drop, so ....

Now, what I ended up doing was getting the hypnotic blade from SM library:

and combining it with the prophetic cane:

I don't mind the lack of spirit, I go for a more warlocky int/sta
orientation. I can always drink if I need to.

I think so, but this is a place where "money is no object" comes in.
The cheapest I"ve seen this on my server is 120g, and I did (briefly)
consider buying one at that price. But for the small gain it is
simply not worth paying that. However, if you're just planning on parking
yourself in 30-39 and you don't care how much it costs, I'd agree.

And honestly? Even if I had one drop for me today (yeah right), I'd
probably still sell it.

Why not use engineering? Particularly if you're going to be doing
PvP primarily w/ this char, that's the way to go. You can have a

(these are pretty expensive ... I made a ton of them when grinding up
engineering. I might drop back down to lower level bombs when I'm
done with them)

not to mention trinkets like the dragon gun/etc if goblin or the

One thing, though. on most servers, the 30-39 is by far the deadest BG
level. I think it's because at 37-39, everyone is ready to level and
get their mount. you should do a "/who warsong gulch" and "/who
<whatever> Basin" And see what levels have decent populations at the
times you want to BG. I tried to get PvP lvl 2 trinket at 39 and
couldn't get it done with one of my toons because those BGs never go.

but its a random drop so youd have to find one in the AH.

but its another random world drop you would have to buy in the AH. +20
stamina might be useful for keeping you alive if things go bad, but Id
sooner have int/spirit/healing.

Will cost you a lot.

Probably not worth it. I dont think there are any really useful trinkets for
your level/class.

I wouldnt be too concerned with items tho. Just run SM and get fast xp, cos
your items will soon be obsolete.

My gear is just about done, just looking for whitemane's for my head
and tossing around the idea of getting the RFD quest reward shoulders
to replace my doan's.

All up i spent about 70g because i copped out on the underworld's and
went for voodoo bands. Realisitly i think the underworld is just
waaaaaaaaaaay overpriced just because it's purple.

All up i'm pretty happy and melt faces nicely. I'll have to upload my
profile somewhere so everyone can take a look, just yea... i'm at work
atm :(
