Oh well. I expressed my opinion in a thread in the EU forum 3 days ago.

Dunno what Blizzard is thinking with the m+ dungeons. Imho this has
screwed the game completely. Many players begs for better gear.
Faster. And WF/TF should proc with every item too.

In my world endgame raiding is and will always be the ultimate goal.
This is where the biggest rewards should appear. But this comment still
haunts me:

"I geared up to 400 in one week by doing m+"

I feel pissed on my back by Blizzard when my mage in hard-earned 397
gear who plays BGs full-time gets ganked by a casual PvP player in full
410+ mythic gear who does a single BG 1-2 times a week.

Multiproc leaves the building may 11th. Perfect time for a quit: the
sun is shining outside and the summer is around the corner. :)

Gearing is always an argument, there's always groups who think they
don't get enough gear and other groups who think others get it too
fast, sometimes I think the GW2 system is best - ALL gear is same ilvl
(kinda; there's 2 tiers of endgame gear, one easier to get than the
other), get it whatever way you like, doing harder content gives it
faster but is mainly rewarded by cosmetics instead. However that
probably wouldn't work in the WoW culture, everyone's too used to the
gear treadmill.

I personally like how possible it is for casual people to get gear at
all; I'm 394 on my main, with no pvp at all, one LFR Uldir clear, and
a handful of normal dungeons, so basically all my gear is from
emissaries and warfronts. It's really nice to be able to gear, if
slowly; in the past (going back several expansions) I'd hit a brick
wall and might as well just quit till the next major patch, which
would add one worldboss and nothing else I could access, if I was
lucky it might add some badge gear.

I doubt they'll ever manage to make everyone happy with gear sources
tbh, I'm a bit disappointed in the 8.2 essences for the heart of
azeroth, as they come from various sources, but for two of them, the
*lowest* tier comes from normal raid/Mythic +4 dungeon. Why not raid
finder/normal (or even heroic) dungeon? For the bottom tier, lowest
quality item? Fine, let the hardcore get the higher quality items, but
let the casuals have a bit more choice, then everyone's happy.

Maybe Blizzard is doing something deliberate to get people to try out Vanilla. When even you have your stalwarts cancelling subscriptions due to decisions made in regarding loot, then you must be fixing to start to persuade your audience to another type of experience
